Hurricane Ida Disaster Relief: FEMA Assistance, FEMA Appeals, and Insurance Basics Training

Following Hurricane Ida in September, Federal Emergency ​ Management Agency (FEMA) disaster assistance became available in 12 of New Jersey’s 21 counties. During this period of disaster recovery, as households apply for FEMA assistance and navigate the appeal process, accessing free or pro bono legal assistance is crucial. The training offered on November 5, featured an esteemed panel of experts who will provided background and practical guidance in the areas of FEMA assistance, FEMA appeals, and insurance basics. Presenters included:
