SNAP Benefit Increase from January to June 2021

From January 2021 to June 2021, all SNAP recipients will receive a 15% benefit increase. For the month of January, all households also will receive the maximum monthly benefit.

If you were already receiving the maximum monthly benefit you will receive a supplement to cover the 15% benefit increase. For example, a family of one who was receiving $204, will be provided with a $30 supplement. All other households will receive a supplement to cover the difference between what they were scheduled to receive and the new max allotment.

These extra SNAP benefits amounts will be added as a supplement to your Families First card, in addition to your regular monthly amount.
