- Alzheimer’s Adult Day Services Program – New Jersey State Program -This link is to the fact sheet for the state’s “Alzheimer’s Adult Day Services Program.” This program provides a subsidy for adult day services for eligible persons with Alzheimer’s or related diseases. It is administered by the Division of Aging and Community Services in the NJ Department of Health and Senior Services.
If you think that you or your family member are eligible for this program but you have been denied or you cannot get the help that you need, You may contact your nearest Legal Services office or call LSNJ-LAW™, Legal Services of New Jersey’s statewide, toll-free legal hotline, at 1-888-LSNJ-LAW (1-888-576-5529) to see if you are eligible for free legal assistance. Hotline hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. If you are not eligible for assistance from Legal Services, the hotline will refer you to other possible resources.
- Alzheimer's Association - This is a voluntary organization that provides advocacy, education, funding for research, and support for people with Alzheimer’s and their families. This site describes the organization’s services as well as information about how to contact its local chapters across the country, which include regional chapters in north, central, and south New Jersey and local chapters in Northfield for Atlantic County and in Marlton, New Jersey.
- Alzheimer's Disease Education and Referral Center (from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services) - This site is a service of the National Institute on Aging. It provides general information on Alzheimer’s disease and related issues, as well as a toll-free number for obtaining information about additional resources.
