New Jersey Work Incentives Network Support (NJWINS)

  • Are you receiving a government check due to a disability? If so, are you considering going to work?

  • Are you afraid of going to work because you think you’ll lose Medicaid or Medicare benefits?

  • Are you working part-time only because you think you’ll lose your benefits?

  • Are you passing up a promotion or raise in salary because you think you’ll lose your benefits?

  • Are you afraid to start working because you think you’ll lose your job and be unable to regain your benefits?

If you have these concerns, you should know that the federal government is providing safety nets to those who go to work so that, if you lose your job, you will be able to receive the money, benefits, and reemployment assistance you need.

That’s where NJWINS can help you. NJWINS helps people with disabilities make informed decisions about their future. NJWINS helps you to understand how work or a change in income will affect your benefits. NJWINS also assists you in getting the support you will need as you try to become successful at work.

Who Pays for NJWINS Services?
The Social Security Administration (SSA) has contracted with NJWINS to work with you. SSA pays for all NJWINS’ services. You will not be charged for NJWINS services.
