Communications Lifeline and Linkup

 

Introduction

Communications Lifeline and Linkup provides assistance for people who are eligible to receive benefits from the following programs: Food Stamps, General Assistance (GA), Temporary Assistance to Needy Families/Work First New Jersey (TANF/WFNJ), HEAP, SSI, Medicaid, PAAD, and Lifeline Utility Credit/Tenants Lifeline Assistance. Each local telephone service provider administers its own telephone Lifeline and Link Up programs, subject to Board of Public Utilities (BPU) review.
