    The Energy Lifeline Program is a gas and electric utility assistance program that provides a utility credit, reimbursement, or SSI supplement of $225 (in 2002-03) to senior citizens and people with disabilities who meet the Pharmaceutical Assistance to the Aged and Disabled (PAAD) eligibility requirements or who receive Supplemental Security Income (SSI) benefits.
